2025 Goals

2025 Goals

Besides, we’re all in agreement that January is 974 weeks, so I figured there’s still time to share my goals for 2025. (Not resolutions, goals.) Some of these fall under the personal category and… Read More

November Book Report

The November book report. Everything I read or listened to in November, and a (really quick) review. It’s not a lot guys. However, this month I’ve been working through two different book deadlines, have driven to Arkansas twice (both times with kids in the car, so no chance to listen to audiobooks), plus all the regular homeschooling and day job…. Is it just about getting published or making money? Or is there a deeper reason fueling your fire?

Drop a 🔥 if you’re still working on clarifying your why—trust us, it makes all the difference in staying motivated.

We’ve spent years chasing publication, but it wasn’t until we remembered our true purpose—creating stories that inspire and uplift—that our passions reignited. Knowing why we write helps us push through the frustrations and keep going, even when it’s hard (because, y’all—writing is hard).

The Margins Writing Challenge May is such a busy The Margins Writing Challenge

May is such a busy month! But we don’t want to let our writing suffer. This is not a word count goal or a “time spent” goal this is just a challenge to fit writing in little pockets of time — 3 minutes while you’re waiting for water to boil, 10 minutes while you’re in the last of the school pick up lines, 5 minutes while you’re waiting to check out at the store.

These little pockets of time, stolen to write, will help the words stack up. I hope you’ll join us this month!

What: the Margins Writing Challenge
When: May 1 - 31
Rule: write in the margins of your day and watch the words add up!
RSVP: kidding there’s no RSVP — but we’d love to know if you’re joining so we can cheer you on! Let us know in the comments below!
And that’s a wrap on April! And that’s a wrap on April!
