Friday nights, for a while now, has been the “go to Yia Yia and Papa’s house” (my parent’s) night. This week was a little different as (1) I had 2 hours of sleep in 36 hours and (2) My parent’s church had a booth at the county fair.
So me and the two littles went with Yia Yia and Papa to the fair. Annnd of course Papa spoiled them rotten (lots of candy, rides, and games — pretty much anything she asked for :)). I’m pretty sure we were there all of 20 minutes before Els and my dad disappeared. I figured they’d be gone for 30 minutes, hour tops. Nope. 2 1/2 later they finally came back — with a Nemo fish (not live) and a glow wand.
E fell asleep with both (and has every night since then — can’t go to sleep without Nemo!)I love special Papa’s that spoil my kids rotten.
Mom, Drew, and I had a great visit time with another sweet lady from my parent’s church while passing out waters, tracks, and getting people to sign up for a family night movie basket. Fun fun stuff.
