Last weekend, my best friend got married (to Andy’s best friend—great how that works out). It was a crazy, whirlwind weekend (Andy, Me, and both E and D were attendants) but lots of fun. Seriously one of the top gorgeous weddings I’ve seen (funnily enough the other top goes to Andy’s other best friend). Highlights of the weekend:
(1) Hanging with Anna all day on Saturday while everyone got ready
(2) Knowing that after 4 years, I can still wear ridiculously high heels and come away with just two massive blisters (aka I didn’t fall and break an ankle)
(3) After finding out Saturday morning that Drew’s tux was to short, Andy being the awesome guy he is, shopping all over Tulsa for something for the kid to wear in the wedding and finding it 1 hour before the wedding (we cut it close)
(4) The tossing of “gold coins” Sense and Sensibility style
(5) Tossing paper hearts cut from Anna’s favorite books as the couple left — awesome awesome idea . . . so wish I would have thought of it
(6) The discovery of the Southwest Ranch salad kit
(7) Anna’s dress, her shoes, her necklace — she was radiant
