Reading more, faster

This was a post from last year, but since, like most readers, we’ve probably all made reading resolutions (I’m really stretching myself this year. I’m nervously excited!) Hopefully you can grab some great tips on reading more, faster with these tips! I read a lot of books, but I’m not what you would call a fast reader. In the past… Read More

One of my favorite things about Goodreads is the super informative graphics giving you all your stats on the books you read that year. So rad! Here’s what my year in books looks like—how’d yours turn out?!

Book Report: The Girl From the Train

Book Report: The Girl From the Train

Surprisingly, The Girl From the Train is one of my favorite reads from 2015. Only surprisingly because it’s not a normal read for me. Books and Beverages: The Shoppe

My online pal, Jamie from Books and Beverages, has opened her shop and let me tell you—I am smitten. There is a little something for everyone in The Shoppe. She has bookmarks, stickers, iPad covers, and (I think this might be my favorite) a book blogger planner (you know how I love my planners). Something else I love about her shop… Read More

The One About Coloring Books

The One About Coloring Books

Yes. Coloring books are a new craze, and Elsie and I have dove in whole-heartedly. It started with just a couple brought back from conference, and has developed into “we need just one more of those really cool coloring books.” Elsie got a few for her birthday, but one of our (my) favorites that we have gotten is Daria Song’s… Read More

Getting to Know You: Rachel McMillan (+ a giveaway)

I honestly can’t remember how Rachel and I met—most likely we fan-girled over the same something on Facebook (and besides she is from Canada which instantly makes her uber cool in my book). I had the honor of meeting her in person this past September at the ACFW Conference in Dallas and, guys, she is as awesome as she looks… Read More
