When Eric wakes up in a bed that isn’t his own next to a woman who isn’t his wife, he wonders where they went wrong. He knows that his infidelity is the last straw in his marriage and after re-thinking the situation, he is terribly sorry for what he has done. And then the unthinkable happens, his wife is in a car wreck and can’t remember any of Eric’s mistakes. In fact, she thinks she is madly in love with him. Eric has been given a second chance! After taking the doctor’s recommendation, he chooses not to remind his wife of his shortcomings. All good things must come to an end, however, and soon his wife not only remembers Eric’s mistakes, but she also uncovers his biggest mistake of all. Eric, now realizing that his wife is the best thing that ever happened to him, decides to romance his wife — even if that means he will never get her back. Dry as Rain is the story of ultimate betrayal, love, and forgiveness.
Dry as Rain’s story was a sweet story of lost love and found redemption. While the story itself was a good one, I was a little frustrated with the characters. It almost seemed as if they had multiple personalities — which made it really hard to connect with them.
