I have always loved the idea of a great home manicure. However, I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. Every inch has to be painted and heaven forbid I ever get it off my nail and onto my finger. And then there’s the smudging. A good smudge messes up the whole dang thing.
Essie polish seriously is the best. I’m addicted. It is so so so easy to get a good manicure. I love it.
Now, being a mother of two a good home manicure is hard to come by. When you do find the few free minutes you’re lucky to even get the polish on much less sit there to let it dry. Browsing the polish at my wonderful neighborhood Target, I saw this “good to go” product. The back of the package promised to have “{my} nails painted and out the door in an instant.” I have bought products in the past promising much the same thing, but they fall short. Way short.
I was a little leery of another product promising to dry my nails super fast. But, it’s Essie. The polish hasn’t let me down, so I thought I’d go ahead and try this out. Oh. My. Good. Lanta. I lurve this product! Painted on my nice crazy bright red and slapped down the good to go top coat. I promise not even 30 seconds after I got that top coat on, my husband walks in the room and let’s me know it’s time to go — I still have to change, pack a diaper bag, and get two babies ready. There was no time to sit and tentatively see if this product worked. Fifteen minutes later we’re all in the car and I finally have time to stop and look at my nails. Perfect! Perfect I tell you!!! Except for one teeny tiny little nick from where I touched to see if it was dry (like right after I put on the top coat…) Seriously.
Essie, my nails thank you because, even though I’m a mother of two, my nails will now always be a pretty color.
