You, Guys. How is it 2019? I felt so blindsided by the new year this year! Anyone else? Looking back on my 2018 goals (part 1, 2, and 1/2 way done), I have so much that I didn’t accomplish, but so much that I did. And I’m totally ok with that. Some of my goals last year I found out real quick they weren’t going to work for me — and I took those off the list. Other things that didn’t get finished last year (house projects) are getting moved to this year, and those are going to look a lot different than last year, and that’s ok too. I like the growth that happened with these goals, and I’m excited to share my 2019 goals with you as well.
But first a wrap-up on 2018.
The house projects that were completed last year, seemed to happen before the midway point. After that … not so much. We have so many ideas and dreams for giving this house a bit of a facelift. It’s going to be excited. Coming into 2019 we’ve figured out what doesn’t work for us and what we need to hire out to have done. Another exciting thing happening in 2019 … more bookshelves!
My writing goals for 2018 — I’m happy with what I got accomplished. I have a couple of collaborations that I started talking through toward the end of 2018, and those are going to carry over into some fun things in 2019. Short stories … that didn’t really happen, but I did write some flash fiction (that you can read here). While it didn’t make it on the 2019 goal list, I hope to complete more flash fiction this year as well. There will be more craft books read in 2019. I’m still working on the last one for 2018 — for whatever reason, it takes me forever to consume a craft book. I have to soak in all the good information!
So here’s to 2018. That’s a wrap!
What about you? What goals did you complete in 2018 that you’re proud of? I’d love to hear about it!

I feel you, I didn’t accomplish a lot of my goals for 2018 in the way that I wanted to, but I’ve been able to look back on the year without many regrets. Where I was last January and where I am this year has shown a lot of growth and I’m grateful for it. I can’t wait to see all that 2019 holds for you!
