So last week I had one of those “that kind of night” nights. You know — when neither kid decides to sleep and the husband worked extremely late so you can’t really ask him to get up to put the toddler back to bed because he himself has to be up in a few hours and so you end up sleeping scrunched up in your daughter’s toddler bed trying to get some sleep before the baby wakes up for his next feeding — yeah that kind of night. When we finally dragged ourselves from bed (E and me) I decided it was a very much chocolate kind of day.
So we made chocolate chocolate chip muffins (the kind that comes in the pack for 88 cents at Wal-Mart). They came out of the oven all nice and pipping hot — but this was not enough chocolate for me… so I cut it open and added Nutella. It was Heaven I tell you… Heaven!
Here is my uber easy tutorial on making this wonderful goodness —
Gather your supplies — muffin, Nutella, knife.
Slice open your muffin (I basically cut the muffin top off)
Slather on a generous helping of Nutella. Generous — as in a whole bunch.
Place your muffin back together and enjoy with a nice steaming cup of coffee. Delish. (And then make yourself another one because you know you’re going to want one).
