November Goals

*Find a new normal and sink in — Life has gone crazy with getting a new job and a knack for not being able to say no. I’m working on that. Currently there are like 5 books that I need to finish in the next 3 weeks + be the best wife and mommy + work + run a household + get sleep in there somewhere (I love my busy life). I’m getting better, but going to bed past 2 AM, waking for at least one feeding, and getting up with both kids between 7:45 and 8:15 is making me grouchy mommy (at least before 9 AM after that I do pretty good).

*Run 15 miles (not at one time, silly) — I can do this.

*Throw Els a rock awesome second birthday — this is happening. Can’t believe I already have a two year old!

*Continue quite time — I did better this month, but I can do better next month.

*Make something yummy for Thanksgiving dinner — I’m sure we’ll be celebrating with my massive family (no really — Grandma, Grandpa, 10 kids + spouses, 28 grandkids + 2 spouses, 1 fiance and a few significant others, 2 great grands, and a couple of inlaws in there as well — told you … massive (and that’s just my mom’s side)

I did ok. Just ok. This month I’m gonna rock it.

* Better housewife – really excited to have found some cleaning checklists online (more on this later), meal planning, etc. I did really well for about two weeks. Then we went on vacation, I got a job, and Els stopped taking naps or going to bed easily. It’s getting better.

*Quite time – I’ve been slacking in this and I’ve been missing it. I’m going to do a mixture of Elisabeth Elliot books as well as scripture reading/meditation. I did better this month then I have in a long time. I’m loving it. Going through InTouch magazine as well as reading through Proverbs.

*Run 10 miles – this would be pretty huge if I can actually get this done. I got 6.16 ran. I was planning on running the final 3.84 tonight, but my dad ended up coming over and the kids didn’t go to bed until late. Whoops. But I’m saying this is pretty good because as of a week ago I only had 1 mile ran…

*Write – anything. Just write. I wrote some on the blog, some in my journal, and some for Blissfully Domestic.

*Organize scrapbooking stuff for better on the fly scrapbooking – currently I feel like I have way to much stuff. I want to streamline everything so that I can make great “me” pages. I also really want to do a project life project next year. I have to be way more organized then my current state. Right. This is just funny.
