Is it just me who has books abandoned, always meaning to finish, but never quite gotten there? I have a sad number, all in various degrees of “almost-finished”.
But no more.
I have deemed March the finishing month. My TBR list for March consists only of books that I’m almost, but not quiet finished with. Those that were abandoned, not because the book was boring or uninteresting, but because life got in the way and I picked up another book. Which is going to be especially hard because Lauren Oliver has a new book coming out this month! All the more reason to fly through these books.
The list includes:
Mockingjay — which this is my third read through. I meant to finish it prior to seeing the movie, but I was also reading three other books at the same time and never got this one finished.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire — this is the last re-read of the Harry Potter series before I move to the ones I haven’t yet read and I’m so excited.
The Goose Girl — I deemed this one on GoodReads “just can’t read”. Of course then in a late night chat with my #WriteNight pal I agreed to read whatever book she sent me. And it was The Goose Girl. I’ve re-started and forced myself to get as far as I have and it’s actually picking up. I’m actually kinda sorta enjoy it! So I’m kinda excited to finish this one.
I’ve limited the number to three because both the Harry Potter book and Goose Girl and kinda on the thick side and I’m not very far into them. Maybe next month I’ll move on to series that I need to finish (or maybe not because I’m not sure I could finish them all).
