This month, I ran my 5th 5K. Wow. I already have 5 under my belt. That’s amazing.
I ran by myself this time, which was ok. But it might have been one of my most favorite courses that I’ve ran yet—meaning the first part was uphill and the end was down . . . so much better that way!
My first solo run, I clocked in at a little of 15 minutes per mile. This solo run I was a little over 14—which is progress! (Very little progress, but good considering I’ve been really bad about the actual training part.)
Since my run, I’ve actually been doing a little running—and when I can’t run I’ve been doing some yoga stretches and kettle bell work outs. Next race is in a little over three weeks, and I can’t wait!
