Book Worth the Pre-Order

Last year I “discovered” Lindsay Cummings. Instantly she became one of my favorites (up there with Lauren Oliver . . . you know I love her). After devouring book ones last year, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the second books.

This is a cover reveal of sorts for book two in Lindsay’s Balance Keepers series. Fans of Harry Potter and Pearcy Jackson will love this series!

It’s not out until September of this year (I know), but you can read book one while you’re waiting.

More about The Pillars of Ponderay:

Albert Flynn is psyched to return to the Core, the magical world at the center of the earth where Balance Keepers fix problems in three underground Realms. Last term, Albert and his Balance Keeper teammates Birdie and Leroy saved New York by fixing the Calderon Realm and were crowned First Unit, aka the Coolest Kids in the Core.

Now Albert and his teammates have been called to the Core for an emergency training session…along with their archenemy, Hoyt. There’s a horrible Imbalance in the Ponderay Realm and they have only seven days before California will be swallowed by hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Worse yet, it’s rumored there’s a traitor among them who is causing all this chaos.

Will Albert, Leroy, and Birdie discover who’s been putting the Core—and the world above—in danger? Can they save Ponderay before California becomes an underwater wasteland forever?

This second book in Lindsay Cummings’s epic fantasy adventure series is packed with fantastical creatures, perilous journeys, and the magic of choosing to do what’s right.

Perfect for fans of Percy Jackson or Lisa McMann’s the Unwanteds series.

More about Lindsay Cummings:

Lindsay Cummings writes books for HarperCollins. She’s currently 23 years old and lives in the great state of Texas. Lindsay is a huge fan of books, which is why she writes them.

Why writing?
When Lindsay graduated from highschool in 2009, she became sick with Chronic Fatigue. She was constantly tired from several surgeries, couldn’t get out of bed most days, failed her college classes, and had to drop out. Because of Chronic Fatigue, Lindsay took up writing. At first, it was a hobby and a way to escape. But after a while, Lindsay became obsessed with writing stories…it turned into a career, and she wouldn’t have it any other way! Unless she could teach Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts. Then she’d have it that way.

Lindsay loves YA books, especially the dark ones, and wants every girl in the world to know that Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead is HER man, and they should kindly back off 🙂
Lindsay owns two German shepherds, one wolf cub who isn’t very smart, a real live Budweiser draft horse named Dan the Man, and a silly little quarter horse named Clue. Lindsay collects weapons, loves to shoot her guns, eats too many Hot Cheetos, and can’t stop dying her hair crazy colors. She’s still waiting on her letter from Hogwarts–it was probably just lost in the mail. She loves Jesus Christ and believes all of her success is His doing! She’s getting married in October, and she can’t freaking wait.

You can follow Lindsay on twitter @lindsaycwrites ! Or keep updated on her books at lindsaycummingsbooks.com
She’s always online, and loves to chat!
