This month was for finishing all the books I started, but then put to the side because of moving, VBS, life, and summer.
The Selection Stories | Keira Cass: This would be really helpful to read after the first book. Which is when The Prince and the Guard take place 🙂 I super loved the extra stuff such as family trees and playlists at the back of the book. Great fun.
Lady Maybe | Julie Klassen: This may be one of my favorite Klassen books to date just when you think you’ve figured out all the twists, she throws in another one. Loved not knowing which hero Lady Maybe Would pick until the end. Loved the mystery, the romance, everything.
Siren’s Fury | Mary Weber: All the feals. You can read my full review here.
Saga: Ok so Saga. This is my first dive into the graphic novel since Maus in college. While I enjoyed the story it was a little…graphic for me. Yes. This is a graphic novel and I totally missed the “mature” rating. Apparently I’m not mature enough for the mature ratings. That being said, still a fun read.
Blue Sparrow | Ksenia Anske: So much love for this little book. Loved the “one liner” encouragement. When I get stuck and feel like giving up, this will be one I grab again and again to remind myself to embrace this crazy life and just write.
The Princess in Black | Shannon Hale: Super fun book. Fast, easy read. Elsie loved it and can’t wait for book two in October!
Sea of Shadows | Kelley Armstrong, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix | JK Rowling, and Once Upon a Time: Shadow of the Queen were read during #Booktubeathon2015. You can read what I thought, here.
What have you read this month? Next month will probably be a little slower because I have a novel to finish! (Whoo-who!)
