August Goals (July Recap)

Wow. I can’t believe August is here already!! (Honestly I’m very glad as this means it’s Drew’s month!!)

So — July Goals Recap

1. Write articles for Blissfully Domestic. Done
2. Come up with three to four ideas to pitch for August articles for Blissfully Domestic. Done
3. Make an outline for e-book. Did it (yay!! — again I can’t push this book enough)
4. Attempt to write two to four articles to publish else where. Fail. But that’s ok. I actually have a plan for this month
5. Get caught up on writing book reviews for various clients.  Done. Thankfully.

1. Write two to four articles for other websites than Blissfully Domestic.(Here comes the “better plan” part)

Suite 101 — 2 (on a “bookish” subject)*

Associated Content and/or Untrained Housewife — 2 (on a “babies” subject)*

2. Finish writing eBook. It was supposed to be finished in July, but throw a couple kinks (such as a wonderfully needed vacation to visit the in-laws and a sister‘s wedding) and you just get thrown off track.

Ok. Not very many for this month, but I’m planning on being quite busy… planning classes for September, schooling for E, and going to start tutoring as well (not to mention I’ll have TWO kids!! Yikes!).

Do you have any August goals?

*note I actually have these “planned” out as to what I want to write about… I just can’t give it away 😉

Great goals, esp. with new baby in tow! I think it’s good to be realistic for this month.

Me…I’m going through the bloghop conference today and then CLEANING the rest of the weekend. I know that doesn’t count, but I’m much more likely to be productive if the house isn’t a wreck…plus it involves cleaning my guest room, which means I’ll be more likely to sew, which is part of all of this.

I do want to get my ebook underway so that I can start the next one in Sept/Oct. We also have every weekend until vacation (mid sept) booked, which means no extra weekend writing time. Ack! I have my August BD articles done, and I need to do my Sept VB and BD articles before the end of the month.

Theeen, there is the normal load of blogging for myself. And I want to get more in etsy and the local shop before we leave. Ack!
