I devoured anything and everything written by Dee back then (and if I remember correctly I’m pretty sure I was grounded from reading a couple of times, because I couldn’t put her books down and wasn’t getting homework done. Yes. #Nerd). I love Dee’s new books. I love how you can find characters from her previous book in this book (we are visited by characters from a few of her most recent books and the books from my high school days! The old favorites). I love that her books are so grounded in faith—even more so than the O’Malley series (of course, it’s been a while since I’ve read them . . .) This book has romance, suspense, and edge of your seat moments. It’s the perfect summer read!
