I have recent acquired a bit of a commute to town. Recently while traveling home, I honestly felt like I was going to pull my hair out if I had to listen to the radio blaring the same song one more time. So I turned off the radio and started getting caught up on my podcasts.
Here are three podcasts that will keep you entertained on your long commute (Note: best for writers, artists, makers, and shakers).
Serial: First off, I can’t tell you how ready I am for a new season of Serial. But if you haven’t gotten to season one yet, you have a chance to devour it for the very first time. It’s a podcast from the creatotrs of This American Life. Serial unfold one true story over the course of a whole season. You will follow the characters and story wherever they may leads. It has quite the entertaining factor. And most of the episodes are around 45 minutes to and hour.
DIY MFA Radio: This is great fun for all those writers out there. It’s hosted my the DIY MFA founder Gabriela Pereira and the show’s mantra is “Learn to write more, write better, write smarter.” Really enjoy listening to her tips and ideas!
1k True Fans with Kevin Kaiser: Great for any creative entrepreneur to listen to for advice on building an online audience. Sometimes he’ll have a guest and sometimes he’ll just talk shop. He’s always entertaining to listen to, and I always get something out of the listening to the podcast.
And if you’re needing even more podcasts to beat the monotony, you can get out my Top 5 Podcasts (to beat dish washing duty).
