Rachel Ignotogsky’s Women in Science is a seriously fun book. Rachel gives a quick bio of fifty women scientists who changed the world. I’m excited to read this book with Elsie—she will love learning about girl heroes, and she’ll have fun with the illustrations.
Speaking of, the amazing visuals (and doodles) may be one of my most favorite parts.
This book is perfect for any little girl in your life. It would probably be appreciated more by older girls, however, if you have a younger girl, it’d be fun to read together. I love the attention to detail on each page. I can see Elsie and I spending lots of time on each biography, reading the text, and then going over all the sidebar information.
