Writers have to have their notebooks (we are not going to count how many I currently have). And while I prefer my Moleskines plain-jane, I like my notebooks anything but.
I’m not sure why. I just fill them with scribbles (kinda literally since when I write long-hand, I let it all out. What it looks like on the page is sometimes scary).
Maybe it goes back to college and making my notebooks pretty then too. I would collage pictures on the cover of my composition books and tape over them with packing tape.
I’m basically doing the same thing now, except instead of collaging photos, I just take one big pretty photo (this one is the cover of a magazine—why not) glue it down and tape over it with packing tape mainly to reenforce it (*stronger*). Saves tons of time, and I’m still getting something prettier than the regular black and white composition book cover.
