Project Life week one is in the books. This project is reminding me how little pictures I actually take in the day-to-day life of things.
Project Life goals going forward
One of my goals going forward (other than taking lots more photos) is more in depth, personal journalling about the every day life of things.
On Q&As
One fun thing that I really want to continue doing is these fun little Q&As with the kids. It’ll be fun to see how their answers change throughout the months. (You can make these questions up, or search on Pinterest. I did a quick Pinterest search and ended up pulling a couple questions from various Q&As.) I also want to do one of the “About my Mother” and “About my Dad” on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day this year.
This week I included a copy of the lunch schedule from Elsie’s school. Also, a fun drawing by her—this is another reason I want to do project life. I need a place for all the pictures and school worksheets that the kids bring home from school (not all of them, but many of them). My album is the perfect place to drop these.
Week one is in the books, and I’m having so much fun.
products used: title card + journaling cards from Midnight and Seafoam core kits, “No 1” card cut from a thank you card that I received, “awesome” wood word unknown.
more details : Project Life is a documenting system (plus products) created by Becky Higgins. You can learn all about Project Life here. I have various different Project Life kits due to starting three different times. I’ll be mainly using the midnight and seafoam editions, but I’ll be substituting some from other kits and patterned paper. Design A page protectors are my favorite, so I’ll mainly be using those. I am using a Michael’s brand black backcloth album.
