At the end of December, I started on my Project Life 2017 album. This may be somewhat humorous because I’ve literally started this project three different years, and I’ve yet to actually finish a year. This year is the year I want to change all that.
How am I going to change my un-finishing Project Life?
First, I’ve already prepped my week cards for the next three months. Hopefully the prep work will help me stay on top of things going forward. I got this idea from a new Project Life kit that I really wanted to purchase, but having two-three half kits from previous years, I’m going to use what I have.
I’ve also added random journaling cards and decorative cards throughout. Also, on weeks that I know special things are happening (birthdays, holidays) I’ve already added some fun embellishments as well.
(Hoping to add a quote or the kids’ ages to the blank card. I haven’t decided yet, so for now it stays blank!)
Weekends are for catching up. For the post part I’ll be using walgreens.com to print my photos (since in our small town, Walgreens is about the only developer in town). I do hope to eventually figure out how to print 4x6s from my Mac and more than one per page (if you have any good tutorials please let me know!!) During the week I’ll be saving all my memorabilia and I have journaling cards in easy reach so I don’t forget any fun details!
Hello there, 2017. Let’s do this.
products used: cards from Midnight core kits, 2017 american craft letter stickers, lovely 5 ticket and wooden K unknown.
more details : Project Life is a documenting system (plus products) created by Becky Higgins. You can learn all about Project Life here. I have various different Project Life kits due to starting three different times. I’ll be mainly using the midnight and seafoam editions, but I’ll be substituting some from other kits and patterned paper. Design A page protectors are my favorite, so I’ll mainly be using those. I am using a Michael’s brand black backcloth album.
