I guess my reading slowed down a bit for November. I was working on finishing up some edits to get my manuscript to my crit partner, so that left little time for reading. I did get a couple read! (I also hit my yearly goal. Maybe subconsciously I stopped reading as much because of that?)
Of Poseidon | Anna Banks: I really liked this one. It’s more of a “bubble gum” read. This book isn’t going to move mountains and change world, but it is super entertaining. I liked it enough to pick up the next one!
Fires of Calderon | Lindsay Cummings: This was very, very much like a mash up between Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Fun book and going to be a fun series. I will always love Lindsay—she’s the best.
A Singular Whimsical Problem | Rachel McMillan: My single problem with this book is that it’s a novella—I wanted more! I love Jem and Merinda and DeLuca and Jasper. The first book in the series comes out in March and I can tell you I am going to be addicted!
Currently reading Of Triton, the second book in the Syrena legacy, and The Darkest Minds (hooked on this series too!)
What are you reading this week?
The winner from Rachel’s book is Gabrial. Congratulations!! Don’t forget there is another giveaway going on for a couple more days!
Also, I posted on Christmas traditions over on the lovely Emilie’s blog! Check it out!
