Let’s get real guys. I love, love goal setting, but sometimes I jump in feet first and write a bunch of “good” things down, but never follow through. And when you don’t follow through with good goals, they just become good intentions. I’ve been doing some thinking over the past month of intention and goal setting. I have to be intentional about my goal setting. So this month, instead of spouting off a dozen good things that I hope to accomplish, I’ve narrowed it down to three—and have intentionally made a plan to make sure that I succeed.
My three simple goals for March are:
(1) write more than I have in February. I’m currently using Elise’s 2017 daily goal tracker—you simply make a goal and color in the days that you complete your goal. My February looks pretty black and white.
(2) Read that essential oils book already. I love, love oils, and I love learning more about them (that’s a lot of “loves” in that sentence, but really . . . I do love them). I ordered two oils books late last year to deepen my knowledge, and they are still sitting on my nightstand. These books aren’t that large in size, I just haven’t taken the time to read them! This month I’m committing to reading at least one of them!
(3) Work on my inspiration board. I finally got my giant board hung and now it stares empty at me from the wall. I am going to get some great inspiration up on the board—photos, quotes, designs, etc.
I’m already loving this new goal setting plan! I’m looking forward to conquering this goal list this month!
