March is kinda sad on the reading front . . . but that’s ok because most of my focus has been going toward edits! What books I did read this month:
Ross Poldark | Winston Graham: I don’t think it’s been a secret how much I loved the most recent BBC telling of this 1945 series. One thing I love so much about BBC television is (at least it seems to me) they stay fairly true to the original story. Ross Poldark is the first book in Graham’s family saga, and I loved reading into the scenes deeper than the show was allowed to go (due to time constraints I’m guessing). All the giddiness. I’m super excited about series 2 coming out early next year (at least I’m hoping that’s when the US gets it!)
Dorothy Must Die | Danielle Paige: This one was super interesting and definitely entertaining. Dorothy is now the antagonist—gone is the naive girl from Kansas (at least I’m pretty sure she’s the antagonist . . . nothing is what it seems and I can’t wait to grab book two!) Amy is sent to kill Dorothy and save Oz—at least that’s what she is lead to believe, but as I said nothing is what it seems. I have a feeling the rest of this series will be just as entertaining (and it’s making me want to pick up the other original Oz books—Elsie and I have only ever read the first book (twice as it’s one of her favorites.)
And I also had the opportunity to read another novel from a friend who summited it to a publisher. I begged and begged to read, so she relented and holy crow guys it’s so good (but that’s all I’m going to say and when it’s picked up by a publisher I’ll gush and demand everyone buy their own copy because. . . IT’S THAT GOOD)!
What I’m currently reading: I recently, randomly, requested Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin via my library’s ebook program and I basically can’t get enough! Rain Graudin is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Seriously loving this book—wish I could read faster, however, I’m limited to elliptical time (which having a good book to read, is really upping my time stayed on said elliptical. Double win). Also dabbling in Emergency by Neil Strauss, but since I’m loving Wolf by Wolf so much, this one is getting neglected. I’m also still listening to Winter on audiobook (dude, it’s a massive book!)
What are you reading?

Wow, what a fun plot with Dorothy possibly being the antagonist! I never heard of that book! I might have to look for it!
