Hello, June
I have big plans for you.
June is vacation month. This whole family needs it.
June is getting ready for nephew month. Only one more month before this awesome little person makes his arrival and we are all on pins and needles to meet this fantastic little boy.
June is finish the first “real” draft of the book. You know the one. The draft before it goes out to the beta readers. Yeah that one. This is scary and awesome all at the same time.
June is for the start of the library summer reading program.
June is for playing outside, popsicle eating, family walks (at night, because, June, you are way to warm during the day), grilling out, fire pit nights (there will be marshmallows).
June is for the last June of my baby girl being a baby girl. This fall she’ll go to preschool, and she’ll turn 5, and this doesn’t really sound like a baby anymore. So, June, we’re going to play you up for all you’re worth.
June is for getting healthy. We are going to be eating tons of fresh foods (and tons and tons of watermelon).
