Before college I read one book at a time. After college I can’t help but reading multiple books at a time (college ruined me). I love having more than one book to read. All those stories running through your head . . . I know. I sound crazy. I probably am.
Here’s what’s currently gracing my nightstand.
Divergent: This is my second read through. First time around I wasn’t sure if I liked it. My husband and I recently saw the movie on date night, and I was really trying to figure out why I hadn’t liked the book to begin with. Enjoying it so much more this time around. Or maybe it’s because I’m studying it, dissecting it (my favorite kind of dissecting).
Bleak House: We are not going to talk about how long this monstrosity has been on my reading pile. We just aren’t. I have about 20-25 chapters to the end, and by George I’m finishing this summer!
Remnants: At 500+ pages this is a whopper of a book, but oh so, so good. Another one I’m marking up all throughout and dissecting. I feel like I’m carrying a textbook around, and it makes me slightly giddy.
Praying for Your Husband Head to Toe: This one is the next “Girl Time” read. “Girl Time” is my mom, sister, and brother’s girlfriend reading a book together and discussing it. Such a fun sweet time.
The Wizard of Oz: E, D, and I are reading this one at bed time. I’ve actually never read the Oz books, so I’m just as excited about it as they are!
(note: this doesn’t include the stack that I’m reading that is currently sitting on my desk consisting of Persuasion, The Great Gatsby, and Dancing with Fireflies)
