I love setting goals. I’m also really good at major failing at my goals. I think it’s mostly because I set lofty goals, and then don’t plan to succeed. I also think it’s because I decide on to many goals for one set period. I mean come on. In a perfect world I can read 10 books a month, but it’s not ideal for . . . um . . . the little people in my life (or anything else).
This month I’m sticking with 3 very attainable goals. Two are fairly simple, one’s a little more challenging (but, like a boss, I’m going to check it off at the end of the month).
I want to take more photos. All I have to take photos with is my phone, but it is with me all the time. I want to make a conscience effort to take more pictures. Both for the blog, instagram, and for documentation.
Get photos printed for the wall. I have this great wall space for photos—and I’ve never been one to hang photos on the wall. I’ve always felt like my current home was just a stepping stone and we’d be moving soon. Or maybe it’s just the fact that decorating intimidates me. I’ve been getting the frames at Hobby Lobby (one at a time with my 40% coupon), so this month I’m going to get my random instagram photos printed—then I’ll just need a couple more frames.
Finish edits on All the Lies We Cannot Know. Guys, I’m so close. And I know those that have known me for a while know that I’ve been saying that for two year, but this time? This time I’m really, really close.
