Soup No. 2: Broccoli Potato Soup from this recipe
Adjustments: Instead of the sweet red pepper, I put in crushed red pepper. Mainly because a fresh red pepper is around three bucks. Red pepper gives it a yummy bite. No scallions either. I topped with real bacon bits instead of making bacon and crumbling. Also, I didn’t add the cheese. Trying to take after my sister and not like cheese (or just cut back on putting cheese on everything). The second time I made this soup I added sausage because I had it on hand and don’t really know what to do with it.
Notes: Pretty good. Not over the top the best soup I’ve ever had, however, it is a good hearty soup for a chilly fall/winter day.
