Only a few this month!
All Fall Down | Ally Carter: I will forever think Ally Carter is brilliant. I love everything she writes—every story has that Alias flair (and if you don’t know what Alias is . . . my favorite TV show ever. It’s on Netflix. Look it up. You’re welcome.) The start of her new series, wasn’t so much a spy novel, but still just as enjoyable.
Enna Burning | Shannon Hale: This one was my writer buddy’s favorites, so of course I had to read it. I wasn’t a huge fan of book one (The Goose Girl), but I’m really glad I picked this one up. It’s a little more fast paced than book one, but still with the beautiful prose that I loved in book one.
Anna and the French Kiss | Stephanie Perkins: This one was just an ok one for me. Starting out, I thought I was going to love it, but around midpoint it just kinda plateaued for me. Still a fun, fast read.
Illuminae | Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: Oh. Wow. This book wasn’t read, it was experienced. The entire story was told through briefs, chat boxes, emails, etc. It was amazing. This one isn’t out for another month, but it’s going to be well worth the wait!
