Around here, I think we’re finally settling into summer. The kids are finally not waking up before 8 AM, and I’m getting a couple hours of work done before they get up. I’m getting into a groove of working/not working — and I’m not going lie. Not working every day is a little weird (and I’ll probably get used to it in time for school to start and hence another routine shift). I’m enjoying the #readwithanna Bible reading challenge (you can find out more about that here). I’m diffusing all the oils (and looking to build my team! You can follow along on my oily adventures here). Also, stealing random moments to read or get words written. Still working on a serial project — hopefully, I’ll have more information on it for you in the next couple of months. It is the end of June, however, and we have yet to find a pool. That’s the goal for July — find a pool and spend at least one day a week there (our itty bitty town doesn’t have a public pool). July is going to be lots of traveling back and forth to T-Town to see family, go to writing club meetings, and a writing retreat — and then it’s going to be August. We’ll celebrate a birthday and back to school (what?) It’s going to be gone in a blink, and I want us to be able to soak up as much as we can.
What has your summer looked like?
