We’re fifteen days into the last ninety days of the year and it’s time for the first goal check-in. In all honesty, I wanted to film an update, but it’s amazing how much quiet time you don’t have when you work full-time from home and also homeschool. So, we’re going old-school blog post check-in.
To see the full parameters, you can check out this blog post.
Here’s how we’re doing —
Getting up earlier and focusing 1 – 1.5 hours of the morning on writing/editing projects — for the most part, I have been getting up Monday – Friday and getting writing done (thanks a lot to the Desperate Writing Department.) This last week has been a little rough. I thought I might have been coming down with something, so let myself sleep in.
Walking 5 days a week, and adding in a workout 3 days a week — Walking, yes. Adding in the workout. . . I might have forgotten that step.
Yes, I will be drinking all the water — I’ve been doing pretty good with drinking about 80 ounces of water a day. I’d like to bump that up to 120 by the end of the month.
No sugar — on the day-to-day I’ve been doing good. There was a stint there (cough husband out of town) that I indulged a little more, but we’re getting back on track.
Daily quiet time — Same as the writing and walking . . .
Refocusing for the rest of the month. I need to make sure that I’m getting in bed/sleep the night before so that I can get up early (which will help with three of the five goals). I’m going to bump my 80 ounces to 120 ounces by the end of the month, and going to make sure that unless it’s a special occasion, I stay out of the sugar (we don’t generally buy it and have it in the house, so shouldn’t be *too* hard.)
What about you? How are you doing on your goals?
