- When moving into our current house, I was super excited to be able to have a microwave (previous house was old and there were no outlets that worked with a microwave) so that I could have microwave popcorn. After living here for two and a half years, I’ve discovered . . .I prefer freshly popped popcorn. (oh so good).
- Growing up, I could only ever read one book at a time. I was an English major in college, and as such had multiple lit classes which all were reading different books. Now, I’m terrible at reading multiple books at the same time. Which means I’m a horribly slow reader because I’m always switching between books.
- I wanted to be a doctor from the time I was about six until I was about thirteen.
- I never wanted to go to college. I tagged along with my best friend from senior year when she toured a campus and ended up signing up and being accepted the same day.
- Coffee is my favorite, but I didn’t really start drinking it until the end of my junior year in high school. My my senior year, I decided that I really wanted to open a coffee shop (I’m a huge dreamer).
- I have had just about every hair color. Blonde is very much me (so apparently I try to go as blonde as I possibly can turning grey and I love that too.)
- I am a music lover, but it took me years of trying out different instruments (piano, violin, clarinet, drums, guitar) to realize that I’m just a big lover of music not a player of music (although I still really want to learn to play the cello. LOVE the cello).
- I was in debate for a year in high school. Hilarious now to think because (1) I hate public speaking and (2) my debate partner wrote all my speeches—Justin, how did we pull that off?
- Coconut is my favorite. Coconut anything—smell, flavored, fruit, oil. I love it.
- I am the world’s biggest fan of lists. I love making lists. Mostly to-do lists every day.
I’d love to get to know you better! Tell me something about you!
